Given that Composer 2 was released (and then some), we can probably mark this fixed now.
Automatically closed - issue fixed for 2 weeks with no activity.
We have a limited window to offer feedback to the Composer maintainers for any improvements or feature requests we'd like to see.
From an Automatic Updates Initiative point of view, many of our concerns have to do with performance, but there may be other areas of feedback beyond this initiative as well. Let's include them all here so that we can pass them on.
