The Composer-based workflow was recently improved by the fullcalendar_io dependency.
Hey! I am using the fullcalendar modul in my project and we try to manage all our third-party dependecies in composer. We use asset-packagist and it works great so far.
FullCalendar has still some issues finding the right location of the javascript files since it's not respecting the right root directory. The rest ist already configurable in fullcalendar.
I added an option to append the DRUPAL_ROOT to the libraries path.
