Unable to save IEF form with certain fields in display

In the parent issue, it's mentioned that the Links field throws an error. This issue documents that.

I set up a fresh install of Drupal 8.8 and IEF Table View Mode 8.x-2.x-dev (which has the patch from https://www.drupal.org/project/ief_table_view_mode/issues/3061295 → ).

To reproduce:

Add a reference field to Page, referencing Articles.
Configure Page form display to use IEF Table View Mode widget.
Configure Articles to use Inline Entity Form Table display.
Create a Page, when you add an Article in the IEF field, it won't save.
Configure Articles IEF Table View Mode display, disable Comments and Links fields (both are broken).
Create a page, now Articles will save in the IEF field.

This is issue is still present. I have noticed that it happens also when the submit button is dispositioned to another section of the forms.
