Mismatched entity and/or field definitions after updating to 3.x-dev#6b952ba6

I got this after updating core from 8.7.7 to 8.7.8. Is this my fault or something in core, or is this because of Viewfield?

#3073979: Mismatched entity and/or field definitions after updating to 8.x-3.0-beta2 → looks like a duplicate of this issue.

http://drupal.org/project/schema_diff can be useful in debugging the "mismatched entity or field definitions" error. I have seen that come up in various contexts where I believe Viewfield was not in use.
