Sending mails in a batch way

Hi!

Imagine that you install "User Expire" with more than hundreds of thousand accounts that are expired when you define the expire time.
In the next cron run, the server can be halt, a lot of emails are send.

If everything goes fine, a lot of users receives an expire message, and not a warning one.
Perhaps, we need to send first a warning and then an expire, so to do that, you must change the "access" data to a new date between expire and warning to avoid these problem .... is the only way.

But the main problem is sending hundreds of thousand emails at once ....

¿There is any way to do in a batch way, like sending emails with delay or something similar?

@nanaoye - I guess there's a way to extend the feeds importer in this User Expire module to provide support for that scenario. I suggest opening a new issue in this queue about that topic. Personally I likely won't have time to do that work, however a new issue is where a merge request could go to help add the functionality.
