Whitelisting Countries Not Working?

Here's some background:

  1. Drupal Core 7.67
  2. Restrict IP 7.x-2.2
  3. Countries 7.x-2.3
  4. IP-based determination of Country 7.x-1.5

I've installed the prerequisite modules as noted above and after entering my allowed IP and also indicating that I wish to only allow the United States to be able to access my website, I saw that I was blocked when trying to access it using an additional workstation on the same desk with a different IP address than the one indicated in my allowed list.

Since I'm allowing Watchdog to log access attempts, I saw that the block attempt recorded the following PHP notice entry for the blocked IP address:

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$data in restrict_ip_boot() (line 230 of /home/foobar/public_html/foobar_test/sites/all/modules/restrict_ip/restrict_ip.module).

I tried searching through the support threads and only found 1 other person who experienced this a year ago who was replied to by someone posting a supposed patch to fix it: https://www.drupal.org/project/restrict_ip/issues/2994582 πŸ› Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$data in restrict_ip_boot() Closed: outdated

Is this a broken feature or something or do I need to use the 7.x-2.x-dev version instead?

Any insight into this would be appreciated and thanks in advance.
