Composer kills Drupal 8.

4 years after Drupal 8.0.0, Drupal is declining.
I need 1 day to update a real Drupal 8 site from 8.5 to 8.7.
I have 12 years with Drupal development and write a lot Drupal 8 code. I still need one day to do it.
For Drupal 7 site, it only need 10 minutes.

Drupal 8 become more friendly for big company now. But for small company, it is hard to use it.

Contributed module should provide basic support for ludwig module to make Drupal 8 more frendly for small company developer.

Considering that the Ludwig project page recommends using Automatic Updates instead, I'm marking this won't fix.

Please, consider the use of the Automatic Updates contrib module instead of Ludwig!

The Automatic Updates contrib module has a stabile release now. It is a long-term Drupal UI solution for package management. So, try it and find out if it works for you. If not... you can come back to Ludwig always. :)
