Search Form Block with Facets

Hi all,

Can't seem to find a proper solution for what seems like a logical use of Facets an Search API. I wan't to create a search form block on the my homepage with some facets. A title, a location and a min and max decimal and a search button that leads to a result page (the view with facets).

I've seen someone do this with Webform, linking the url with a custom GET and search elements. But that seems quite tedious, and Webform doesn't like ?f%5B0%5D= ;)

Isn't there any other way to do this?
