Add a AAA.BBB.CCC.XXX - AAA.BBB.DDD.YYY range

Hello,
is it possible to add a range like AAA.BBB.CCC.XXX - AAA.BBB.DDD.YYY?
If I try to add it, the form validation says that is not a valid IP address range and because I have AAA.BBB.0.0 - AAA.BBB.255.255 I cannot manually enter all of them

The only possible solution I can think of is having a for loop inside the settings.php, but I would take as the last possible solution
