Doesn't work with layout_builder

Is there any other trick to this? We are using Extra Field Plus for Create Referencing Content button → and it is not working— and it is in the hidden section in the config export.

Ah, i need to set it to be visible, not in hook_extra_field_info like the core issue talks about but in the annotation provided by Extra Field module, of course.

Is this going to mess up the experience for people not using layout builder? If so, boo layout builder.

Not in the hidden region, but still not working, either. Huh.
