In Tables.php line 367: 'machine_name' not found

On my neat and clean Drupal 8.7.3, I am unable to make use of or get rid of BEE module.
When I enable the checkbox "Make this entity bookable" on a content type site encounters error. If I try to uninstall BEE same error happens again. In the drush output and message log I can see the following respectively :

In Tables.php line 367:

  'machine_name' not found

Drupal\Core\Entity\Query\QueryException: 'machine_name' not found in Drupal\Core\Entity\Query\Sql\Tables->ensureEntityTable() (line 367 of /xxxxxxxxxx/web/core/lib/Drupal/Core/Entity/Query/Sql/Tables.php).
