my service worker caches fine with
return cache.addAll(urlsToCache);
This way, browser will use cached pages for "node/NID/edit" as well. This is obviously wrong.
As exposed here, forcing browser to do not user cached pages sometimes would help

It's likely this issue predates Contrib.social: some issue and comment data are missing.
This and other caching issues are being worked on in this issue: https://www.drupal.org/project/advanced_pwa/issues/3446692 🐛 Develop the device caching & settings form Active . In fact the setting to exclude urls from being cached is already done.
I'm closing to this focus efforts on the related issue.
