Just noting here the maintainer has mostly moved to a new slideshow library and module - https://www.drupal.org/project/splide → .
This is what we're using now.
I've successfully set up slick configurations on several sites, but have run into an issue on one of my larger sites that uses the bootstrap theme. If I change the them to Bartik or something else the slick display shows perfectly, but when the normal Bootstrap theme is active the window width is enormous and I don't see anything in a giant wall of whitespace.
