We will include all the changes in new release with Drupal 10 compatibility.

The branching situation in this project is quite confusing (see also 📌 Git branches are confusing Active ) and the current MR has been made against the 8.x-2.x-dev branch which is the default branch. It seems though that this is an outdated branch since it has no Drupal 10 support.
I'm not sure what the right way forward is (until 📌 Git branches are confusing Active is solved), but in order to be able to use this on the latest D10 compatible version of the module I propose to make a new MR against 8.x-2.x.

Looks like this bug is solved much more elegantly in 🐛 Headers have already been sent after upgrade to Drupal 9.2 (can't login) Needs review and has already been committed to 8.x-2.x.
