This default still exists in the code. Possibly the reason of #2994810: Notice: Undefined index: table_tools in template_preprocess_views_view_datatables() → , issue not sufficient to solve all the table_tools index problems. Even TableTools is now outdated ( 📌 DataTables extras TableTools not supported anymore Active ), I think it is better to merge this patch, to have a clean code and to close this issue serenely.

Agreed. Will merge it to stop the noise regarding TableTools. Apart from that we need to work on 📌 DataTables extras TableTools not supported anymore Active asap.
