I am wanting to add a new weight option that is not popular. I would like to use this module to enter Grains (powder measurement) as an option. Because I know that it isn't a commonly used measurement of weight is there a way that I can create a module that will extend this one to add Grains as an option? Or would you be willing to add Grains as a weight option? 7000 grains = 1lbs. The abbreviation for grains is gr.
I have thought of just changing the code myself, but then anytime there is an update for this module it will replace my changes, plus I don't think that is the best practice. Any advice or help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
