I think this is outdated given the new gitlab flow, so marking closed.
If an issue is triaged properly that's great. The issue is confirmed at least at a basic level, it's filed in the right project, and necessary report information is present, and maintainers are added.
If the maintainers are not added in a timely manner, though, that's a bummer.
It seems ideal to allow manual triage to occur, but then add the maintainers automatically if the issue is open and they haven't already been added.
