Undefined index: safe_value in fontawesome_iconpicker_field_formatter_view()

I'm currently getting the following on a site which has a font awesome icon picker on a paragraph bundle which is nested inside some other bundles used for bootstrap. So the current paragraph structure is:

Section - row - blurb

There are three "blurb" paragraphs on the current page and when clicking edit on any paragraphs on the page the following error is repeated three times:

Notice: Undefined index: safe_value in fontawesome_iconpicker_field_formatter_view() (line 249 of /var/www/vhosts/zeus360.co.uk/example.local/httpdocs/sites/all/modules/contrib/fontawesome_iconpicker/fontawesome_iconpicker.module).

Reducing the number of blurb paragraphs on the page reduces the number of times the error appears.
