Viewer unreliable

This is still an issue on D9. I've had to use the temporary fix in #5 as clients were reporting the issue. I think we'll need to look into this further and also the priority should be upgraded from Normal.

@shabana.navas Yeah I know. Solving this would be a huge pain releaver since it kind of renders the whole thing obsolete when it doesnt load.
