Integration with EU Cookie Compliance module

Created on 4 November 2018, about 6 years ago
Updated 9 April 2024, 8 months ago

EU Cookie Compliance looks like the most-used of related modules (currently approaching 15,000 Drupal 8 installs).

It offers a method to determine if consent has already been granted (Drupal.eu_cookie_compliance.hasAgreed()), and triggers an event (eu_cookie_compliance.changeStatus) when consent status is changed.

    Hi, it would be great to have this patch put into Google Analytics module, while GDPR modules do not fix this, and google analytics is the major cookie setter to handle with GDPR for my situation.
    Is it ok when I reopen this for latest Google Analytics module? Otherwise close it again, but until now I do not see solution to prevent adding analytics code if the cookie allowed cookie (hehe) is not set.
    Greetings,

    @Summit

    This module is unsupported and obsolete since the discontinuation of Universal Analytics, and is unrelated to the google_analytics and google_tag modules which support the new GA4 system.
