Hi, I've been wrestling with this a bit. Has this been implemented in any way in the module?
What I'm trying to figure out is a straightforward way to be directed to different steps based on role at the last step.

unfortunately no, this feature is not yet implemented. You'll have to use good old hooks to perform any bypass of a step on your conditions.
