Have you found something to fix that?
I have configured the Ace editor to use LaTeX as the default syntax. However, when I create a new user, and create content for the first time as this user, the syntax reverts to HTML, and I have to change it back to LaTeX. This is not a good experience for our users, because they will not use the Ace editor for anything but LaTeX documents.
I don't know if the problem is caused by the Ace editor module or by some other module on our site, but in any case, I am at a loss for how to solve it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
