Redirect Urls not translateable - redirects in wrong language

Created on 4 April 2018, about 6 years ago
Updated 4 March 2023, over 1 year ago

Rabbit hole does not respect languages in redirects. The issue #2906587: Page Redirect behaviour - languages β†’ isn't fixed.

Please make the rabbit hole field translateable in the language settings and on a per content type basis.
With this functionality, editors can redirect to whatever url they want and to different urls in different languages.

Thanks.

    Hello,
I am writing to report that #16 successfully fixes the issue in this ticket and am adding a +2 review.
I was battling it for quite a while before I stumbled upon this ticket.

    Patch #16 confirmed works on:

    • Drupal 9.5.3
    • PHP 8.0.27 (cli) (built: Jan 11 2023 08:21:13) ( NTS )
    • Rabbit hole 1.0.0-beta11

    Please merge!

We were also having an issue when creating translations for a newly installed language.

When adding a new translation we'd get the "Non-translatable fields can only be changed when updating the original language."

Patch #16 resolved this issue for us, so +1 RBTC.

    [Drupal 9.5.3, Rabbit hole 1.0.0-beta11]

Although we don't have a test coverage yet, there are multiple confirmations that the latest patch works. Let's get this in!
The patch is not committed to 2.0.x because there will be a completely new structure.

    Thank you, everyone!
