Corresponding Entity References do not support asymmetric translations

Created on 20 March 2018, over 6 years ago
Updated 30 January 2023, almost 2 years ago

I have Corresponding Entity References enabled and added to reference fields in two content types and it's working correctly. Problem is when I add reference in one node e.g. in English version, reference is added also to other languages version, no difference if referenced entity in field have translation or not. Corresponding Entity References should add reference in current language version of entity or should check availability of translations before adding it in other languages.

In other case untranslated reference is broken.

Changing status as uf #20. @DieterHolvoet or could you provide steps to reproduce it on 5.x?
