Does anyone know if there is contrib that already provides the option for dropdown select widgets for Search API Sorts in Drupal 8?
I know there is https://www.drupal.org/project/search_api_sorts_widget → for Drupal 7, but just wondering if there are other routes in Drupal 8 before diving into the code.

That sounds great @jeroent, and I hope a drop-down solution for Sort will become available. I would prefer to use this module over adding yet another module, but Search API Sorts Widget does seem to work fine.
