When I have "Redirect new users to Drupal user form" functionality enabled, the OAuth'd new users are successfully redirected to Drupal's registration page, to fill additional user fields, to complete the registration.
Here, in order to fill/edit these user fields as well as to change password, the user's current password is required, which is a random-generated password.
How can this user finish their registration?

It's likely this issue predates Contrib.social: some issue and comment data are missing.
Maybe you can redirect to a different (custom) page (and allow the path to be set in the module's settings page), since we can have custom form modes for Users and Profile and Form Mode Control modules already provide those different forms.
