A non-existent config entity name returned by FieldStorageConfigInterface::getBundles(): field name: comment_body

I get this error after updating to drupal 8.4

A non-existent config entity name returned by FieldStorageConfigInterface::getBundles(): field name: comment_body, bundle: comment_node_book

i get one error for each content type that i have on the site it appears as a views error.

The errors repeat upon clearing cache.

There is a similar issue reported here https://www.drupal.org/project/drupal/issues/2916266 💬 How to fix "non-existent config entity name returned by FieldStorageConfigInterface::getBundles()" Needs work but it is not explained how to use the code and putting it in a custom module does not work and the issue has been set to closed/fixed.

i did a test on a dev box and by removing the comment module the errors disappear but when i enable it again it returns.
