Menu items linked to /admin/structure/contact disappears when contact form is deleted

If I create a menu item with with path '/admin/structure/contact' it is created properly. If I then delete a contact form, this link disappears. The only variable I observe that is unique is that this menu item appears in the database with 'route_name' 'entity.contact_form.collection'. I'm assuming there is a bug that deletes menu items with this 'route_name' when contact forms are deleted?

    @ngunner, Thank you for reporting this problem. We rely on issue reports like this one to resolve bugs and improve Drupal core.

    I tested this on Drupal 10.1.x, standard install, using the directions in the Issue Summary. I was not able to reproduce the problem.

    Therefore, closing as cannot reproduce. If you are experiencing this problem on a supported version of Drupal reopen the issue, by setting the status to 'Active', and provide complete steps to reproduce the issue → (starting from "Install Drupal core").
