Admin Interface Enhancement For increased ease of use

In the basic page content creation form, the order of the subheading content and Body content textareas are showing with the subheading top of page and body following, however, when content is published the order is reversed. published content shows the body content first, and the subheading content second, so its not what a person would expect.

the solution in 8.4 is to edit the form display for the basic page. Default weight settings are 3 for the body object and 2 for the subheading object. the fix is to change the body object weight to 2 and the subheading object weight to 3. Then, content form entry order matches content published order.

The request here is that the DEFAULT weights be changed in the core distribution, so people do not have to waste time learning what I have learned and shown above. In addition, I would suggest the label for the body textarea be changed to "Primary Body" from "Body" and the subheading label be changed from "Subheading" to "Secondary Body". This would also aid ease of use.

    @starlightE, thanks for the idea.

    I am not able to find any history in core of a 'subheading' content for the Basic page. There is also no support for this idea in the past 8 years. Because of that it doesn't met the Criteria for evaluating proposed changes β†’ . In this case, there is not demonstrated demand and support for the change.

    If there is interest in this re-open the issue and add a comment. Or open a new issue and reference this one.
