Closing this task since the module doesn't support Drupal 7 anymore.
The module could add an entry in status report using hook_requirements().
It seems to me the menu entry should live in /reports rather than /configuration. Or maybe both?
You are of course free to disagree. It is not important for me. I am just sharing my thoughts :)
One risk of hook_requirements() is that every implementation of this hook can slow down and potentially blow up the status report page.
So let's only do this if we are sure this won't happen.
