public://asset_injector should have write access.

Executing a standard module install via Drush cli or Drupal UI results in the following error:

Module asset_injector doesn't meet the requirements to be enabled. [error]

public://asset_injector should have write access. (Currently using Asset Injector version Directory not writable)

I cannot come to any conclusion on this as the ./sites/example.com/files/asset_injector directory is created previous to this error.
