Sorry, I really need your help to understand the way queue_mail works.
We set up a newsletter for thousands of recipients. To save server ressources we thought it would be a good idea to sent mails in batches of 100 by sending the email to the sende + add the 100 recipients to BCC field.
today we started a first test and got some watchdog messages about recipients which could not be reached (SMTP Error: The following recipients failed: ...). The mail was put back to queue.
What I don't understand is what should happen in those cases? Will the email sent to the 99 BCC addresses which works (seems not be sent out in our case)? After the mail has been re-queued and sent out again - will those 99 BCC addresses receive the email again and again?
Can someone clarify this for me?
