Show non-translatable fields instead of hiding them

Translated the patch #8 to be compatible with the 2.0 version of the module.

If needs-tests and automated tests are missing, an issue is amways NeedsWork.
MR for current 3.x appreciated. Still needs an automated test.

Patch in #19 does not work anymore with 3.0.0-rc20. Re-rolling.
Tests are pending still, so keeping NW.
