Entity display plugin: Rendered entity doesn't respect field order

Problem/Motivation

When you configure a entity form to use Rendered Entities as entity display plugin the order of the fields displayed by entity browser is not respected.

I have the following view mode configured:

If I display this in a view I see it in the correct order:

But when I try to use it in a Entity browser...

The order is not maintained.

6 years later and this is still an issue, I'll try to figure out why this is happening.

Found a fix, but it definitely doesn't feel good. Also need tests.
First commit to issue fork.
