I ran into an issue with a GA account that is shared across several sites in that the incoming path contained my domain name. This resulted in the inability to match nodes to paths. It would be great if this module could strip out parts of incoming paths in cases like this.

As Drupal 7 EOL is close, please consider upgrading to the latest Drupal and latest version of this module with Google Analytics 4 support.
If you are still here and experiencing problems with the latest version using GA4, then please open an issue about it.
