Hi.
I have installed in my drupal site stage file proxy to fetch files from a preproduction environment. That environment is protected with basic auth. So I've configured the module adding basic auth like this 'http://username:password@example-preprod.com'. But it didn't fetched any file.
Seeing the watchdog entries i've seen even I add basic auth is being excluded in the request.
Example:
GuzzleHttp\Exception\ClientException: Client error: `GET http://example-preprod.com/sites/default/files/2017-02/example.jpg` resulted in a `401 Unauthorized`
