I would like to see the same option in views.
In my use case, I have a glossary filter that adds a lot of additional markup to body fields. However, this is totally screwed up for teasers. Thus, I created a second text format which does not utilise the glossary filter. However, Drupal core doesn't allow to choose a different text format for teasers. This module is helping a lot already when showing content teasers in views, however, when using fields, I do not have the option to choose a different text format.

It's likely this issue predates Contrib.social: some issue and comment data are missing.
That would be great!
Another usecase would be: highlighted Text be authors and editors on the node. And you want to keep the highlight for informational purposes, but just for nternal use.
And a report view, where the text format is different and excludes the highlighted markings and the text is just shown normal.
