Development now by Civic UK ? Breaks security coverage (and violates GNU license BTW)

Hi,

It seems that Civic UK is distributing it's own versions of this module at https://www.civicuk.com/cookie-control/cookie-configurator .
We saw this in a project that was taken from another bureau.

Using the civic uk version is killing drupal updater (it says version unsupported). Since module development at drupal.org seems to be stalled for a long time, it seems wise to reach out to civic and fix that (by putting development back to this project).
Must be a win-win situation for both of you.

Oh and BTW, they don't mention the original developer or company, which seems to be a GNU License violation.
