Given I have activated authentication via SimpleSAMLphp, then if on the "Local authentication" page (/admin/config/people/simplesamlphp_auth/local) I "Allow authentication with local Drupal accounts" and allow "Authenticated user" to login with local accounts; afterward I cannot successfully submit any other form anywhere on the site, because every submission fails with the following error:

I can't even reverse the configuration change, because that requires submitting the form, which of course fails. I wasn't able to change the config via Drush, so the only way I was able to fix the problem was to uninstall and reinstall the module via Drush.

Patch #15 works fine. But this fails after upgrading the simplesamlphp_auth module (v3) for D10 compatibility. (after applying D0 compatible patch from here. https://www.drupal.org/project/simplesamlphp_auth/issues/3311418 → )
In order to work this patch along with D10 compatibility fixes. Please find the patch updated.
Patch #15 and #41 do not get applied for the 4.0.0 version. Re-rolled the patch with the latest changes.
