This is a great module, thanks for your work on this! I have a minor feature request: when configuring a licensed maxmind database, I would like to not have automatic downloads, and with that, not have to put in a license key. The license field is required, and when trying to save, it requires the "update manager" module. Would it be possible to make these settings more flexible when not wanting to download an updated database? i.e. disable the dependency on update manager if selecting "no" for the "Automatic MaxMind GeoIP2 binary database update", as well as disabling the license key field?

Drupal 8 & 9 are no longer supported. This version of the module this was opened against only supports these earlier versions of Drupal. If this is still something you want addressed in the current 5.x version of the module, please update and provide some next steps.
