Hello and thank you for all your hard work on this handy Advertisement module. I have used Ad on many Drupal 6 sites, and now that these sites are moving to Backdrop CMS I'm looking for a path forward for their ads.
My current plan is to port the 7.x-1.x version of this module to complete the upgrade path from Drupal 6 => Drupal 7 => Backdrop CMS. I'm choosing the 1.x version not only because it's so similar to Drupal 6 (and more compatible with Backdrop's philosophy) but also because trying to get from entity + features + eck over to Backdrop (which has Config Management) is likely to be a nightmare.
I'm opening this issue to see if any of the current (or previous) maintainers are interested in maintaining, co-maintaining, or collaborating on the Backdrop version of this module.
If not, would you be interested in patches against the 7.x-1.x version in this queue, or is that branch mostly abandoned by now?
