I was curious if there would be a Drupal 8 version of this module available.
I did some research, and found this core issue: #625958: Support Uploading Multiple Files for HTML5 Browsers via #multiple attribute →
So it seems that it is possible in D8 core to upload multiple files, without the need for this module. I haven't tested it though.
If this is true, perhaps we should put a note on this module's project page indicating that it will not be necessary to port it to Drupal 8?
