Nested all/none selection weird behavior

Hi, I am using the plugin for sort of product catalogue (ordering pages by taxonomy vocabulary). I have the options select all/none and nested all/none selection turned on but the behavior is weird. When I hit the main category, the subcategories are automatically checked but when I check just single subcategory it checks whole category with all its subcategories. How to override it?

/update: BEF acts like this only when I am logged in admin. Outside the admin the function nested all/none selection doesn't work at all, even with select all/none feature turned on.
