I have found a little issue (not critical) with the update UI in D8core.
Don't know it was designed this way but let me explain.
I have some "uninstalled modules" installed.
Some modules still have mayor issues, (or i don't need them at this moment.)
So i want to be able to follow the module version updates.
But using the Update UI, i'm only able to update the Recommended version.
Not good, because that is a step back in time.
The new dev version is not showing, only the recommended version.
Can this be altered to give the user a choice?

It's likely this issue predates Contrib.social: some issue and comment data are missing.
@VBN, thanks for the idea. I think this is a duplicate of #750352: Provide an option to also offer dev builds as updates if they are newer - for advanced users & beta testers → so I am closing it as such. Reopen if I have this wrong.
