Require the git vetted user role

Hello all,

This is an odd request, I appreciate that.

I have an odd situation - I'm trying to take over maintainer role on a module ASAP. The module has been marked insecure and the current maintainer does not appear to have the time to resolve the issue.

The security team can not work with me to get the security release out unless I have the git vetted user role.

I have committed code to a few modules already and also to Drupal 7 and 8 core. I have also already made a few reviews of module applications over the years, I do't have links to them though sorry.

There is a bit of a rush on this as users of the module are abandoning it because of the security status. The community has already created the patch for the security issue, its ready to be fixed but we need a user with this role to take it and fix it.

Thanks, any help at all will be appreciated as we try to save this module and its users who are using an insecure version.
