Acknowledging a module release version warning

Since many security updates are mitigated and do not require an update under certain circumstances for a said project. We'd like to somehow "acknowledge" a certain module release version so it does not raise the "Security Risk" UPDATE STATUS flag.

Something like a checkbox beside each versions in the site report.

Anyone has ideas for this?
This would help shut down less critical alarms. and keep our attention on the important stuff.
