Is there a way to create Project templates?
What I mean by that is this ...
I'd like to setup a set of Tasks and Tickets that would be the same for all projects of a particluar type. For instance say the "Project Template" description would be something like "Project Management Tasks and Tickets to build a LARGE Drupal website".
Then, when our sales team brings in the next LARGE contract for say 'an existing customer', all I need to do (as admin for our internal PM system) is to create a new "Project" node and copy the correct "Project Template" into the new project.
The template specific set of tasks and tickets would be something we'd setup internally and then apply it to all large projects in general, or for that specific customer.
Then all the person in the PM role for the project would have to do is run thru and assign the various Task and Ticket components (nodes) to various team members.
And, all the Team members would need to do is to use Timetracking to log their work.
It would save me a lot of tedious work of course, but I think more importantly help us to standardize/streamline on a particular workflow (project delivery process), that we can then customize specifically for our various customer types.
Maybe it needs to be a Feature or Custom module, but might be something I'll have the time to work on if we can figure out the right approach.
(I seem to remember this kind of thing discussed for Storm/PM in the past but couldn't seem to locate that issue thread, so sorry if this is a duplicate.)
