Ticket comments not included in search

Default search module does not index comments of support tickets. Using a fresh install of Drupal 7, and no additional modules save for Support and its dependencies. Ticket search tab enabled, but tickets not removed from content search and theme and block search form not overridden.

If I create an article or basic page, and add comments to each, then manually run cron to complete indexing of the site, unique search terms in the page, the article, and their comments all are reachable via search. In the search_dataset table, comment text is appended to the end of the article or page content, and so indexed by the search module.

If I create a support ticket, and then add a comment to it, unique search terms in the ticket itself are found via search, but terms in the ticket comment are not. Only the text of the original ticket appears in the search_dataset table.
