Tried using organic groups option for buddylist. WHen selected it never shows users to chat with. Ive had multiple people online that are members of the same group and or space with still no luck.
I also couldn't find any drupalchat permissions for the og groups in the specific groups permissions and roles list.
Is this working for the ifly service? Specifically using open atrium so its possible that some of their og customizations are causing this.
Other than that awesome module. Currently using it for all members although it would be better if I limited the ability to chat for people with the same space or group memberships.

It's likely this issue predates Contrib.social: some issue and comment data are missing.
The 7.x-1.x branch is now not supported. Any bug will be fixed in the 7.x-2.x branch, until Drupal 7.x is not supported. It is probably better to focus on resolving bugs in the Drupal 8 branch and make it compatible with Drupal 9 or Drupal 10.
