There's currently a lot of options, especially of the Highcharts library, that this module doesn't support. The reasons are multiple:
One solution for all of these would be to just have a text area for "Additional raw settings" in the UI where the user can input JSON (or any other format – could be an additional option) to be included in the options sent to whichever library is being used. That way, with a single stroke, we have complete, if somewhat second-class, support for all features of any library. Additional proper UI options could then be added only if they are properly implemented and requested by enough people – which won't prevent people from using the feature directly in the meantime, though, at least in most cases.
Would you be open to add such an option? If so, I could probably provide a patch.
